Boiling pasta in a small quantity of water
Περιγραφή
Using a sufficient quantity of water
Διάλυμα
Boiling pasta in a small quantity of water leads to it not cooking well and appearing sticky or un-homogeneous. When boiling pasta, a generous quantity of water must be used, because pasta needs sufficient space to move and expand during cooking. The general rule is to use about 4 to 6 liters of water per 500 grams of pasta. To avoid this problem, make sure to boil a sufficient quantity of water before adding pasta and fill the pot with suitable water so you do not worry about pasta sticking or not cooking.
