Grains with Grape Molasses

Ingredients
- 1 kilogram of grape molasses1 kilogram
- 2 cups of whole wheat2 cup
- 1 cup of dried fava beans1 cup
- 1 cup of chickpeas1 cup
- 1 cup of dried beans1 cup
- 1 cup of dried green beans1 cup
- 1 cup of sugar1 cup
- 3 tablespoons of starch3 tablespoon
- 1/2 cup of ground fennel0.5 cup
- 1/2 cup of finely ground anise0.5 cup
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts0.5 cup
- 1/2 cup of grated pistachios0.5 cup

Wash the wheat and place it in a damp towel for 12 hours.

Soak the fava beans, chickpeas, and all the grains separately for 12 hours.

Peel the fava beans and split them in half, then boil until cooked and place in a bowl.

Boil the chickpeas until cooked and place them on top of the fava beans.

Boil the beans until cooked and place them on top of the chickpeas and fava beans.

Boil the green beans until cooked and add them to the mixture, then boil the wheat and add it as well.

Dissolve the molasses with 3 cups of water and the broth from the grains, then heat until boiling.

Add the boiled grains on top and reduce the heat, tasting for sweetness and adding sugar if desired.

Dissolve the starch with a little water, add a bit of molasses and stir, then gradually add it to the pot while stirring until reaching the desired thickness, let it cook a little until the starch is done.

Pour into bowls and sprinkle ground fennel and anise on top, garnishing with walnuts and pistachios.
