Fish Fillet2 kilograms
Flour1 cup- Breadcrumbs or crushed crackers1 cup
- Broasted mix, from Knorr35 grams
Onion Powder1 teaspoon
Garlic Powder1 teaspoon
Paprika1 teaspoon- Thyme, leaves, cumin, black pepper, and salt1 teaspoon
Mustard2 teaspoons- Small onion, grated or diced1 piece
Olive oil1 tablespoon- Soaked tamarind1 cup
Water0.3 cup
Cumin1 teaspoon
Lemon Juice0.5 cup- Vegetable oil for frying1.5 cups

Prepare the fish coating mixture by mixing flour, breadcrumbs, Knorr mix, all spices, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.

Clean the fillet and cut it into pieces or fingers as desired; you can cut each fillet into four pieces.

Brush each fillet piece on both sides with a little mustard and sprinkle with a little black pepper.

Coat each piece with the flour mixture, pressing firmly on each piece to ensure the coating sticks, then place the coated pieces in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Heat the oil well, then take the fish out of the freezer and place it in the hot oil over medium heat until the pieces are golden brown.

To prepare the tamarind sauce, sauté the grated onion with a little olive oil over heat just until the onion wilts, then add the soaked tamarind with 1/4 cup of water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add lemon juice, cumin, and salt. Strain the mixture and serve it cold with the fish.
