In the blender, add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla and blend briefly.

Add the oil, cream, water, milk powder, and salt and blend well.

Add the coconut and chopped dates for easier mixing.

Mix the ingredients in the blender until well combined.

Mix the semolina and baking powder well, then add the egg and date mixture and mix by hand until you get a soft basbousa dough.

Grease a baking tray with tahini or vegetable oil, place the basbousa dough in it, and distribute the almond halves on top.

Place the tray in a preheated oven at 170°C and bake until cooked on both sides and turns a dark golden color.
