Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Bake the potatoes for one hour or until fully cooked. Once cooked, let them rest for 5 minutes, then cut them in half to create 4 potato boats.

Scoop out the insides of the potato boats with a spoon and place the extracted potato in a bowl.

Leave a 1-inch border at the top so they don't break and are easy to hold.

In the bowl with the extracted potato, add salt and pepper, then mash well.

In a pot over heat, add the milk and butter until warmed, then pour over the potato mixture. Do not add all the milk as the potatoes may not need the entire amount. Add the sour cream, green onion, sausages, and half of the cheese.

Stuff the boats with the mixture, sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese, and bake for 10 minutes.
