Wash the rice and set it aside. Soak the saffron strands in 1/3 cup of water, and set it aside as well.

Boil the meat cubes for 45 minutes in water, then add the lime, 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper, black pepper, and salt.

Remove the foam from the surface of the water. Once the meat is cooked, drain it and set it aside. Keep the meat broth for later use.

Fry the onions in vegetable oil until golden brown, then add the boiled meat, remaining sweet pepper, red pepper, turmeric, and coriander. Stir the mixture over medium heat.

Pour the yogurt over the meat and onions and mix them before adding the potatoes and tomatoes. Cover the pot and let it cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, then add the tomato paste. Stir the mixture and cover the pot again, letting it cook for another 10 minutes over medium heat.
