    Mix the butter with the margarine in a small dish and set aside for greasing between layers.

    In a large bowl, mix the water, oil, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, and egg white together until well combined. Gradually add the flour and knead by hand until you have a cohesive and non-sticky dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

    Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll out the first part with a rolling pin until it is very thin, about 1.5 mm thick, and brush the surface with the butter and margarine mixture, then spread some filling over it, ensuring the filling does not reach the edges.

    Roll out the second part and place it over the first part, repeating the greasing with butter and adding the filling, and repeat this step with the third part of the dough.

    Roll out the fourth part and cover the previous three layers with it. Press down slightly with your hand and smooth the surface.

    Cut the irregular edges of the dough with a knife and place these edges on top of the filled dough. Roll the filled dough into a log shape, then shape it by hand to make the log longer and about 4 cm in diameter.

    Twist the log from both ends until it takes a spiral shape. Cut the log into small pieces about 6 cm long and place them in a baking tray, brushing the tops with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
