In a pot over high heat, place boiling water, then add 3 tablespoons of sugar and stir well, then add the coconut and let it cook for five minutes, then remove it from the heat.

Let the coconut sit in the sweetened boiling water for decoration for an hour, then place it in a strainer to drain completely and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, place the oil, sugar, and eggs and whisk well, then add the liquid vanilla and whisk the mixture for five minutes.

Gradually add the sifted flour, then add the cocoa and whisk well, then add the milk and baking powder and gently stir the mixture.

In a rectangular mold, grease with oil and sprinkle with flour, then pour the mixture into the mold and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely, then cut into square pieces of desired size.

In a deep bowl, place the honey and using a brush, coat the cake pieces with honey, then dip in the coconut and repeat for all pieces.
