    To prepare the dough, mix the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, and powdered milk. Add the egg and olive oil and mix by hand. Gradually add warm water while kneading continuously until the dough becomes firm, moderately soft, and smooth. Add a little olive oil on top of the dough and cover it until it rises (ferments).

    Cut the dough into large pieces (like pizza slices) and let it rest, adding olive oil on top of the pieces.

    To prepare the filling, soak the fenugreek overnight for a full day, then drain and boil it until it becomes tender. Do not leave it on the heat until the seeds open.

    Drain the fenugreek from its water and wash it well to remove the bitter taste, then place it in a strainer to get rid of excess water.

    Chop 5 onions into cubes and fry them until they turn golden. Gradually add the fenugreek while stirring continuously, then add salt, pepper, spices, and the chicken broth cube until the ingredients mix and the remaining water in the fenugreek dries up.

    Remove from heat and place in a strainer to drain the oil and water. Let it cool, and the filling will be ready.

    To prepare the pastry, place some olive oil on a clean, spacious surface and roll out the dough into a large circle.

    Take the edge of the dough and fold it towards the center to form a half-circle.

    Take about two tablespoons of the fenugreek filling as desired, spread it evenly over the entire dough, then fold the other side of the dough over the first side, and fold from the left and right in the same way to form a square shape, adding olive oil.
