Ingredients

  • 2 loaves of Lebanese bread, cut into cubes and toasted

    In a frying pan, sauté the onion in a small amount of oil until softened, add the minced meat and stir until cooked, then add salt and the diced tomatoes to the meat, let the mixture cook until thickened and set aside.

    To make the sauce, in a bowl, mix the yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, salt, and garlic well until combined.

    Place the toasted bread at the bottom of a deep dish, add the fried eggplant cubes on top of the bread, then place the meat mixture over the eggplant, pour the yogurt sauce to cover the dish, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve the Fatteh hot.
