Ingredients

  • Red beans, fresh, if dry soak in water from the night before
    1 kilogram
  • Meat, cut into cubes
    0.5 kilogram
  • Medium onion, chopped
    1 piece
  • Tomato paste, dissolved in 1 and 1/2 cups of water
    3 tablespoon
  • Clove of garlic, crushed
    1 clove
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
    3 tablespoon
  • Fennel powder
    1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable OilVegetable Oil
    1.5 tablespoon

Steps

    Sauté the onion in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pressure cooker over high heat until golden, then add the meat and stir for 2 minutes. Add the spices, salt, and 1 liter of water. Close the pot and place it over high heat. When steam starts to escape, leave the pot for 15 minutes, then remove it from the heat and let the steam escape completely before opening.

    Add the beans and the dissolved tomato paste and fennel to the cooked meat. Close the pot and press it. When you hear the steam whistle, cook for another 20 minutes, then remove it from the heat and let the steam escape completely before opening.

    Sauté the garlic with the fresh coriander in a small frying pan, then add the mixture to the meat and beans.
