Steps

    Mix the dry ingredients together (semolina, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and anise), then add the butter and knead either by hand or with a mixer. When the dough starts to hold together, add the olive oil and then the water as needed until you have a cohesive dough. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.

    Roll out a portion of the dough and fill it with dates, then close it like a roll and cut it into small fingers. Dip them in milk and then in sesame until the quantity is finished. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes, then brown the top.
