Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chickpeas

  • 1/2 cup water, from the cooked chickpeas

  • 1 cup roasted and peeled red pepper
    1 cup
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed with salt
    2 cloves
  • 1/2 cup tahini

    Place the chickpeas, lemon juice, red pepper, tahini, water, and garlic in a blender. Run the machine for a few minutes until the mixture is smooth. Taste and adjust the ingredients. If the mixture is too liquid and the flavor is good, you can add fresh bread crumbs to the mixture and blend in the blender. This will increase the consistency of the hummus.
