Heat a quarter cup of oil in a pot over medium heat, add the pasta and stir for 5 minutes until browned on all sides, then set aside.

Season the meat with 2 tablespoons of the ground kabsa spices until fully coated, rubbing lightly with your hand.

Slice half of the onions into thin strips, while finely chopping the remaining quantity using a food processor.

Heat the remaining olive oil in another pot over medium heat, add the onion slices and stir for 10 minutes or until browned, then remove to a paper towel and set aside for garnish.

Add the chopped onion to the same pot and season with a tablespoon of kabsa spices, stirring for 5 minutes.

Add the meat and stir with the onion for 5 minutes or until browned on all sides.

Add the tomato pieces, then add the remaining whole kabsa spices to the mixture, stirring for 5 minutes. Add the water, tomato paste, and tomato juice, season the mixture with salt and pepper, and let it simmer until it starts to boil.

Add the fried pasta, then reduce the heat, cover, and let it cook for 30 minutes or until fully cooked.
