Activate the yeast in 1/4 cup of water with some sugar for 10 minutes.

Place the flour, salt, yeast mixture, olive oil, and water in an electric blender. Run the blender for a minute or more until the dough is cohesive and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, turn it to coat with oil, and cover it with a damp towel. Place it in a warm spot to rise (for about an hour).

When ready to bake the manakish: Heat the qawarma until it melts (in a frying pan, for example), beat the eggs in a bowl and mix with the qawarma. Add the spices, keeping in mind that the qawarma is somewhat salty. Roll 1/3 of the dough and place it in a baking dish (22 cm, with sides 3 cm high). Bake in a very hot oven (at least 230 degrees Celsius) until the manakish puffs up and turns golden brown, and the bread is well cooked. Serve immediately.
