Place the meat and water in a large pot, then bring the mixture to a boil and remove the foam that appears on the surface.

Add the onion, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom pods, and the two cubes of Maggi chicken broth, then cover the mixture and cook on low heat for 40 minutes or until the meat is half cooked, then remove the meat pieces from the broth and set aside.

Heat the oil in a large pot and cook the garlic for 2 to 3 minutes, then add the meat pieces and stir gently for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the tomato pieces and tomato paste and cook the mixture for 15 minutes.

Add the reserved meat broth to the okra and cook on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until the okra and meat are well cooked.

Wash the rice thoroughly with cold water and drain, then soak it in a bowl filled with cold water for 20 minutes and drain again.

Pour 3 cups of water into a large pot and add the rice and oil.
