To prepare the pizza sauce, in a pot over heat, sauté the onion with a tablespoon of vegetable oil until it softens, then add the garlic and sauté for a few seconds, then add the tomatoes and stir.

Add the tomato paste, ketchup, and salt, and stir over low heat until the sauce thickens.
