Ingredients

- Onion, sliced300 gram
- Tomatoes, peeled and chopped450 gram
- Green chili peppers, chopped2 pieces
- Cilantro leaves, chopped35 gram

Cardamom0.5 teaspoon
Cinnamon0.5 teaspoon- Chicken broth cube, Maggi2 cube
- Basmati rice, washed and drained4 cup

Steps

In a bowl, season the fish with the Adeni pepper mixture and one teaspoon of curry (set aside one teaspoon of curry).

Heat the oil in a large non-stick pot. Fry the fish pieces on each side until golden brown. Then remove from the pot and set aside.

Add the potatoes to the same pot, fry on low heat for 6 to 7 minutes or until golden brown.

Add the onion, fry for 3 minutes or until tender, then add the tomatoes, green chili peppers, cilantro, the remaining teaspoon of curry, spices, and Maggi chicken broth cubes. Stir the mixture, cover the pot, and let it simmer, stirring occasionally for 7 to 8 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked.

Carefully place the fish on top of the mixture, followed by the rice, salt, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until the rice is done.
