Place 3 cups of milk in a pot over medium heat, add the sugar, and stir well until the sugar dissolves in the milk.

Then dissolve the sahlab with 1 cup of milk in a bowl, then gradually add it to the pot of milk while stirring continuously until the milk starts to boil.

When the mixture thickens and becomes sticky, reduce the heat under the pot. Add the rose water and then immediately remove the sahlab from the heat.
