Wash the fish thoroughly with salt and water.

Place the onion slices in a frying pan over heat with olive oil, stir until wilted, then remove from heat.

Mix salt, cumin, curry, and ginger with a little olive oil until it becomes liquid, coat the fish with the spice mixture inside and out, then place the fish on top of the onions and add the tomato slices.
