Ingredients

Preheat the oven to medium heat.

Wash the leek and drain it, then chop it finely.

To prepare the filling, mix all the ingredients well (leek, onion, green hot pepper, corn oil, black pepper, and salt) and set aside.

Cut the filo dough into strips, each 4 cm wide, and moisten with a little water.

To wrap the sambousik, place a teaspoon of the filling at one end of the dough piece, fold the dough into a triangle by holding the two lower ends and folding them over the filling at an angle. Repeat this process in the opposite direction to form another triangle, and continue until the dough is fully folded. Use some water to seal the dough.

Place the sambousik pieces on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown. Then serve hot.
