Soak the rice in water for a full hour.

To prepare the fish, in a deep bowl, mix the crushed garlic, dried mint, salt, pepper, mixed spices, and two tablespoons of lemon juice well, then add the fish pieces and marinate for two hours.

Place the fish in a tray, pour lemon juice over it, add some spices, then place it in the oven to grill the pieces.

Remove the tray from the oven, set it aside, and keep the juices that came out of it.

In a frying pan, heat the olive oil, fry the onion slices until golden, then set aside.

In a pot over the heat, bring the water to a boil, add a tablespoon of salt, the rice with a tablespoon of cumin, and let it cook until the rice is done.
