Heat the vegetable oil in a medium-sized pot and sauté the onion until it becomes translucent. Add the tomatoes, chopped garlic, white pepper, half of the fresh thyme leaves, Maggi chicken broth, and water. Allow the ingredients to boil, then simmer for ten minutes.
