In a suitable pot, add the oil and sauté the onions with a pinch of salt until they soften, then add the garlic and sauté, then add the potatoes and stir for five minutes over medium to low heat.

Add the boiling water, spices, and broth cubes, and let them simmer covered until the potatoes are well cooked, then place the soup in the blender with the powdered milk and parsley, blend, then return to the pot and let it simmer very gently for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
