    To prepare the mashed potatoes, place the potato pieces in a pot and cover with water with a pinch of salt. Boil for about 20 minutes over medium heat.

    Mash the potatoes well with a fork and place in a pot over low heat. Slowly add the milk mixture to the mashed potatoes and add the butter. Mix the ingredients until well combined. Season to taste.
