Steps

    Mix the flour and ghee just like the method for making Maamoul, then add the sugar, then the water and yeast after dissolving it in a little warm water, and let it rest for about two hours.

    Prepare the filling by kneading it with ghee, then shape it into thin cylinders.

    Take a portion of the dough and roll it out with a rolling pin to a thickness of 0.25 cm, then place a date cylinder and cover it with dough until the date is covered, then cut off the excess dough.

    Repeat the process until the end, sprinkle sesame and black seed, place the anise and black seed on the table, then roll the dough cylinders well while gently pressing until the dough is covered.

    Place the cylinders on a tray, then cut them and put them in a hot oven until they bloom, then take them out and let them cool before serving.
